The role/position will support the Legacy Replacement Project effort by working with vendors to address any part of the proposed solution that will be required to be developed within the client network and infrastructure such as servers, SaaS cloud solutions, application installation/configuration, and engineering working with automation tools (UIPath).
Functional support will also be required in developing, implementing and maintaining the data bridging effort throughout the entire life cycle of the project.
The technician will be required to engineer, design, and/or implement technical solutions to business problems, which they will then administer, monitor, and maintain, working with minimal supervision and in a project team environment.
They will be responsible for troubleshooting problems and researching solutions independently, clearly documenting installation and configuration steps, and if possible developing automation scripts to carry out routine fixes.
The person will be required to work overtime upon request.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems or a field related to the essential functions with 10 years of experience. A combination of formal education, professional certifications, and directly related work experience may substitute for the degree.
Manage and configure web servers such as IIS, Tomcat, and IBM WebSphere - Azure AD/Office365 configuration and provisioning - Server virtualization/upgrades/configuration (including a focus on volumetric and capacity forecasting)
- Salesforce administration - SCCM administration
- Citrix VDI imaging - PowerShell scripting
